Side-by-Side Sarcophagi of James K. Polk's Parents
The locations of the sarcophagi were spot on. Jane Polk's sarcophagus bears a plaque stating she was the daughter of a Revolutionary War soldier. This is a very old cemetery with many of the stones overturned, cracked or unreadable.
