Reproduction of the Squaw Valley Winter Olympic cauldron that was lit in 1960. Rebuilt in 1995 at its original spot in the high school stadium. Tulare high yielded two Olympic gold medalists: Bob Mathias and Sim Iness.

The Olympic Cauldron is an exact replica of the Cauldron that was built and used in Tulare as part of the 1960 Winter Olympic Games Torch Relay. Tulare Olympians Bob Mathias and Sim Iness lit the original Cauldron. The Cauldron was rebuilt and placed back at Bob Mathias Stadium in 1995, and a plaque was installed in 2008.

Cauldron was lit when local athlete Bob Mathias competed in the winter games at Squaw Valley. Located inside Tulare High School track stadium. There is a permanent opening for pedestrians to enter the stadium.
