It's a beautiful park with shade, benches -- and sculptures all made by the local middle school metal shop students. Well worth the stop. We brought lunch, hung out, walked the dog, played some of Dizzy's tunes, and enjoyed the stop! Quiet neighborhood, easy to find, free street parking.

If you are headed into Cheraw for the seven-foot-tall statue of Dizzie Gillespie downtown, you have to take the time to visit the park that was built at the location of the house where he was born. It's full of sculptures.
