Lucky the Bull was moved on April 6, 2018. He no longer sits on the corner of 365/31. It was a sad day in Verona.

Lucky the Bull survived the fire unscathed. He's still wearing a Christmas wreath. You can see him and what's left of the burned building.

The steer is still there at this point, however the restaurant recently burned down under suspicious circumstances.
[Travis R, 01/14/2016]The steer -- named "Lucky the Bull" -- has survived numerous mishaps. According to its original owner, Lucky was built for a restaurant in Canada in the 1960s, but the truck delivering it broke down in the parking lot of the restaurant where Lucky has stood ever since.
There's a statue of large Hereford steer at the intersection of NYS Route 31 and NYS Route 365 in front of a steak house in Verona.

Lucky's owner moved him because some thieves already had him boxed and ready to roll away. His owner has said he wants to return Lucky to his spot, but only if he can be secured to the ground.
