The Odditorium
This place lives up to its name and has changed dramatically since my last visit a few months ago. Oddities now fill the walls, and everywhere you look you'll find something to creep you out or make your skin crawl just a little bit. This dive bar is a great spot to watch live bands, comedy showcases, burlesque shows, and other fun events, with friendly and quirky bartenders and a delightfully ghoulish drink menu. Oh, and don't forget to look up in the rafters... hehehe.
[Natalie West, 12/17/2013]The Odditorium: Freak Bar
I stopped by the Odditorium the other day. Nice little bar, but the oddity collection is a bit slim. They had a two-headed duckling, an albino rabbit crammed into a jar, a stereopticon, post mortum pictures of a dead toddler, and a couple of creepy dolls. Also of note is that the bathroom is decorated with real photos of open casket funerals.

"An oddities bar for the peculiar children of Asheville," and friends. Picture Ripley's meets an old school carnival mixed up in a shot glass. A local dive bar hosting live music, both local and touring, at least four nights a week. On the other nights expect movies, karaoke, a comedy night, freak shows.
Currently they have a number of oddities that change daily and are also for sale to those peculiar collectors of the unique and obscure. The staff is nice, the music good, the drinks delicious and the oddities... enigmatic.
[Amy Marshall, 06/01/2013]Oddities in a dive bar, an unpredictable cocktail. No daytime hours, yet enticing to "peculiar children"... we await reports on what worthy oddities are displayed.

We agree that if someone calls their establishment the "Odditorium" they have a moral obligation to stuff it with lots of stuffed dead things.
