The puffy-suited spaceman stands about 15 feet tall in the gated yard of an industrial surplus business. Built in 2004 for the MTV Music Video Awards in Miami.

Even though he faces the freeway, a much safer spot to view the Moon Man is from the north side of Orange Blvd just after it passes under I-4. Or you could drive around the corner, park in the lot for Acme, and walk back to it.

The MTV Moon Man is still there. We took a couple of photos from the road, then we went onto the property to take some more. It is big. It could also use a good cleaning, and maybe some new paint.
