In April, Nebraska City, "Home Town of Arbor Day," unveiled 71 pieces of public art for "An Enchanted Arboretum." Designed by regional professional artists and local students (grades 1-12), the stylized tree sculptures are installed outdoors or in store front windows. Visitors can download a map at enchantedarboretum.org to help them find all 71.
The sculptures will be on display until September 27. The following day the artworks will be auctioned off, with only 25 of the six-foot-tall sculptures to remain.
