I was there yesterday and the place has had its roof replaced. The truck, as well as the solar panels, are gone.

My friend (who does not look for roadside oddities) nearly ran off the road when I gave a high pitch yelp after spotting a Mr. Softee truck squarely planted on the roof of one of their buildings. She wouldn't stop the car, and I had no camera with me, so it took going back with my husband to be certain I wasn't just having a low blood sugar yearning and the truck really was there. It's in the middle-of-nowhere in New Jersey; parked behind the depot sit lines of working trucks. It's a fun, fantastic sight and everyone will be relieved to know that the excruciating Mr. Softee jingle is not playing as you gaze at the wonder of a full-size ice cream trunk proudly advertising the brand's wares.
