A 1967 CBS news special about the wiles of the hippie subculture, which has since become a cult classic, prominently features this house. The film helped trigger the nation's youth to rush to S.F. and Haight-Ashbury.

The "Hippie Temptation" house was featured in a widely seen CBS news documentary of the same name in 1967. "My mom thinks that where I'm living down here, the Hippies are a bunch of dirty, filthy, infectious people." Nice to see that now everything's clean enough for mom.
