The cows are both still there. I took photos of them in June. Supposedly, they've been there since the late 1950s.

Downtown in the cow town, the cows are literally raised up. Standing about 8 feet off of the ground on pedestals are larger than life fiberglass cows: a Hereford and an Angus.
