There is a new asphalt walkway along the headlands. There are many dog stations for bags, and benches for resting. You can walk or ride a bike north to the Pudding Creek Trestle, where you continue north to MacKerricher State Park.

Originally a dumping ground for local residents, decades of pounding surf has turned the broken shards of glass on Glass Beach into smooth stones without sharp edges. There are signs for people not to take any glass, but people still do.
