The birthplace of Ronald Reagan, this town of 800 boasts a Reagan museum, Reagan park and a hair stylist place called "Hair Force One."
[Steven Cook, 10/30/2004]Ronald Reagan lived here for all of 3 months after he was born, but for all the fanfare, you'd never know it. The Ronald Reagan Birthplace Museum is in a storefront beneath the actual birthplace, and has a collection of movie posters and other Reagan-related memorabilia. There are small dishes of free jellybeans scattered around, which I thought was a nice touch. There's not much else to see here, although the diner down the street has great pie.
