Looks like you are going down an abandoned road. But this attraction is there and the ice cream is delicious.
[Mo, 08/06/2020]Maxwell's House of Fruit
Maxwell's House of Fruit is a trip, as well as a fruit-packing house with a wide variety of orange products. It's only a couple of blocks away from Avon Park's Main Street, with free orange juice. The most popular thing to do is to sit on one of the rocking chairs on the front porch and enjoy orange ice cream, and the most charming thing about the place is the birdhouse-size replica of the front porch that has a chair for a squirrel that eats dried corn.
