The building used for the "INS newsroom" in the classic 1970s horror TV series, "Kolchak: The Night Stalker," is actually the Old Colony Building in downtown Chicago. The outside corner window (which used to have the fictional paper's logo on it) was the staple transition shot to the newsroom in the TV show, with the iconic elevated train that still rolls past it. For a bit of nostalgia, jump on a pink or an orange line on the "L" in The Loop, ride it around, and view the window as you roll past.
