Art Deco 4449 Steam Locomotive

Last of the Art Deco area steam locomotives pulled the Daylight Express passenger cars. Two other steam engines are also on display at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center.

The stylish 4449 pulled the America's Bicentennial Freedom Train (1975-76), visiting all 48 contiguous states. It can still run today.
