This double dropoff of the Snake River provided the name for the city just to the west. At 212 ft. high, it beats the Niagara of the East by about 45 ft.

[Bill Brown, 05/10/2023]Definitely stop. Came here, parked our 22 trailer in RV parking spaces for 4 or 5. Hillside shaded park and picnic- gift stand/concession. Many photo op overlooks.

Drought has the falls looking a bit dry these days.

The water has been mostly diverted for irrigation so, at least when we were there, January, there was no water flowing over the rocks.
[Ted, 01/07/2021]The car fee as of today is $5 and is worth the fee. We went today at low water flow level and it was beautiful. Love to see it again at high!
