Niagara of the West... in winter.

Niagara of the West

Just be careful if you go to the falls in the winter... there's no water there!

Niagara of the West

One of the best things I've seen in my 22 years. My pregnant wife and I are traveling across country and this was an amazing thing only a few miles off the highway. Recommend to anybody.

Little falls.

Niagara of the West

Lots of little falls run under the road [in Shoshone Falls Park]. Worth the $3 vehicle fee to see it up close. Beautiful area to see and photograph.

Check the city park website to see if the water flow is worth the trip. The falls are also called Shoshone Falls.

Twin Falls.

Twin Falls Falls - Shoshone Falls

If you are passing through the city of Twin Falls it is worth a slight 5 mile detour to the east of the city center to see the falls from which the town was named. 45 feet taller than Niagara Falls, it is sometimes called the "Niagara of the West."

A lot less crowded than similar overlooks at Niagara Falls.
