Giant Rocking Chair

We were happy to find this monster piece of furniture still in place, though a bit hard to see from the road. The business owner was mowing, but graciously went off to mow elsewhere so we could get a few pictures.

Big chair.

Large Rocking Chair

This hefty Boston Rocker is along the edge of the parking lot for a furniture store on Highway 45 north of town. Seat is about 8 ft off the ground; we'd guess height at 18-20 ft. tall. Not the biggest rocking chair in the land, but decent enough for Ohio travelers between the Ashtabula train wreck monuments and the One and Only Presidential Museum.

Large Rocking Chair

Claims to be the world's largest wooden rocking chair. Featured by Neal Zurcker. You would need a long ladder to get to the "seat." Sometimes they decorated it at Christmas with lights. This place makes gazebos, swing sets, shed, and wooden things of this nature.

A 20 ft.+ tall red wooden rocking chair is on display at Conner's (?) Garden center on St. Rt. 18 on the western edge of Austinburg, OH. In the fall a rather large scarecrow occupies the chair.
