Plane in a tree house.

Tree House Park

It is literally a large treehouse complex in someone's front yard. When I first arrived, I had the fortuitous opportunity to meet Joe Ferrero, creator of this remarkable roadside attraction. He took me on a tour as he explained his vision, motivations, and future plans for the site. It is incredible to see what he has accomplished so far and I am hopeful for the potential of this place.

Joe was especially excited about the new airplane he added and a newly-acquired classic train caboose he is converting back into functional form. Overall a great free attraction.

Make sure to wear proper foot apparel -- the steps get slippery.

Tiny Treehouse Church

At Tree Creations in Geneseo on August 22, 2015, a couple came from Connecticut to be the first to marry in the church in the trees. This is a new record for the World's Smallest Church. A marriage ceremony makes this a Church.

The tree house church in Genesco was constructed as a novel place of worship among the yard's other tree dwellings. It is only a branch or two away from a wizard's den!

Tree House Park

Tree Creations is a tree house park built on private property but is open to the public. Includes a car, a castle, a wizards' den, a church, and a tea room up in the trees, and a miniature fairy garden down below. It is still a work in progress by the owner, Joe Ferrero, his wife, Heather, his many local friends, and even SUNY Geneseo college students.

Coming soon is a dinosaur garden, another house called "the shadows," an elevator for those who are less able to climb, and talk of a life-sized pirate ship. There is currently a competition to design the next tree house: Galileo-themed.
