A plaque on a rock marks the spot where two men were killed in a payroll robbery, a crime later attributed to Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti. Their conviction and execution became one of the biggest criminal justice stories of the 20th century.

The memorial is right on the corner -- you can park right behind in the lot at the end on the red line MBTA.

This memorial is at the site of the murder of Frederick Albert Parmenter and Alessandro Berardelli. On April 15, 1920, while performing their duties at the Slater and Morrell Shoe Co., they were murdered during an armed robbery by the accused, Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti.
