Giant Bass Statue

Just before you cross the bridge to go into Texas, there's a statue of a giant bass on the side of the road on a metal pedestal. There's no sign explaining why it's there, but after doing some research, we found out that there's a big annual sand bass tournament. I'm guessing that's the significance? Still oddly cool and definitely Roadside America worthy!
