[Stephanie, 06/08/2019]Bill's Big Bug
Located at 190 West Moana Lane sits a large, black/yellow/red bug, threatening to attack the unsuspecting traveler. Bill Harvey, artist and blacksmith, says he made the wild looking creature during the winter of 2012 using scraps that were just laying around. He pointed out the two black poles on top of its back, stating that a replica of the company's business card will be placed there. The bug will become a sign for his Fred and Wilma's rock quarry. Mr. Harvey said he was inspired by David Fambrough's VW Spider Bugs that once roamed freely through Reno, Nevada in the 1970s.
