Castroville, California: World's Largest Living Globe (Gone)
A steel frame and wire mesh held oceans and continents created by 30,000 colorful succulent plantings - echeveria, crassulas, sedum, and semperviums. When powered, a motor spins the 14-ft. diameter globe on its axis. Created in 2012 by Robin Stockwell and Weston Cook, dismantled in July 2014.
