Somerville, Massachusetts: World's Smallest Museum
Named simply "Museum," it's the size of a large shoe box, set into an outside wall, framed in a fake Greek temple facade, lit from within, with room to exhibit maybe a half-dozen miniature artworks on its "walls."

- At the west end of Washington St. where it dead-ends at Somerville Ave. On the north side of the street, wedged between the Subway sandwich shop and The Independent pub.

- Lit 24 hours a day. Local health policies may affect hours and access.

It's in the Independence Restaurant facade. There was a whaler exhibit when we visited.

The world's smallest museum in Somerville is a tiny little room, probably about the size of a P.O. Box, with a little museum facade. There was no exhibit when when we visited, but it's still so fun to see the outside!

The exhibits are changed regularly, with a printed list displayed on the wall underneath the museum. It was dedicated on August 15, 2013, with a speech by the town's mayor, which in its entirety was, "Good evening. Thank you."
