Great find! We stopped here while going cross country on the bike and it made for a nice place to relax for a bit and stretch our legs. I really appreciated seeing the info listed for many of the native plants as well as the historical pieces that are artistically placed throughout.

What a delight! The giant mushroom is only a part of the Krider World's Fair Garden - a wonderful side trip full of plants, sculpture and more.
[Tee1013, 06/29/2014]There seems to be a giant mushroom in a small park or picnic area, as well as a miniature windmill. They were originally designed by Krider Nurseries for display at the 1933/34 Chicago Worlds Fair.
