Southeast of town. From I-5 take the exit for S21/Palomar Airport Rd. Drive east five miles. At the stoplight turn left onto S. Melrose Drive. At the next stoplight turn right onto Lionshead Ave. Drive a quarter-mile. You'll see the building on the left, #3190.

Craftsmanship Museum: Tiny Machines

The museum has a new Demonstration Area where employees give cool, real-world examples of math and science. The demos are at 11 am and 2 pm as of 1/2/24. [Carolyn Robarge, 01/19/2024]

In your review of this attraction you describe it as "worth a detour," but speaking from personal experience I can say it is worth flying across the Atlantic and across America just to see this museum. I just wish I had 10 percent of the ability of these craftsmen.

Craftsmanship Museum: Tiny Machines

Hundreds of miniature machines made by master machinists. Also, several lighted doll houses. This museum is especially for people who like intricate machines and how they are made. They even have a Norden bomb site.
