Cleveland, Ohio: Lady Leg Lamp Shrine (Gone)
In 1983 Jim Moralevitz lived up the street from the house where "A Christmas Story" was filmed. He offered the crew free use of his driveway, and in exchange was given the role of the man who delivers the Lady Leg Lamp to the front door. In 2006 he was given a replica of the lamp. He displayed it in a six-foot-tall plexiglass box mounted to the front of his house, near the roof. He died in 2016.

The Lady Leg Lamp is no longer there. Apparently the guy passed away and it disappeared after his death.
[Amy, 05/15/2017]At this time the leg lamp isn't in the window. It is a Halloween decoration.

This will be on your right-hand side, and you can pull right up to it (didn't even get out of the car to take my pics). Then proceed forward for the movie house on the left.

Jim's house is red brick with bluish shutters -- it's an easy walk (just a few houses down from A Christmas Story House). Hard to miss -- it's the only house with a Major Award sticking out from the upper window, in a plexiglass box. Jim was at A Christmas Story House gift shop today -- signing autographs and posing for pictures.
