- Pismo State Beach. Exit US Hwy 101 at either the Hwy 1 or Price St. exits. Drive south on Hwy 1/Dolliver St. for about a mile. The grove will be on the right, south of the North Beach State Campground. Look for the parking area.

We went to the Monarch Butterfly Grove in February and there were not that many butterflies left. It was still neat to see it. we Were told December and January is the time to see more.
