Palo Alto, California: Statue of Nikola Tesla
Conceived, funded, and unveiled within a span of eight months in 2013. The bronze scientist holds one of his glows-by-itself light bulbs, but it doesn't glow in the bronze statue. The statue has its own Wi-Fi hotspot so that you can instantly share your selfies with the world.

- US Hwy 101 to the Embarcadero Rd/Oregon Expwy exit. Drive south on the Oregon Expwy for two miles. Exit right at the green sign onto Birch St., then drive one block. You'll se the Tesla statue on the right, on a pedestal just past the intersection of Sheridan Ave.
