Morganza, Louisiana: Marker: Where Stars Flirted with Local Girls
A vacant lot is all that remains of Melancon's Cafe, where Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, and Jack Nicholson flirted with local girls in a scene in the 1968 film Easy Rider. The cafe was torn down in 2002, but a granite marker was installed flush with the sidewalk out front on Nov. 18, 2010, calling attention to the historically important site.

- 181 Hwy 1, Morganza, LA
- Directions:
- On the east side on Hwy 1 just south of its intersection with Hwy 10/Campbell St./Fordoche Bayou Rd. Embedded in the sidewalk in front of a vacant lot to the right of the Bethel Baptist Worship Center. Look for the Bethel sign, the flag pole, and the church bell held aloft by white poles.
