Since 1977, seasonal holiday lights extravaganza takes over a residential yard in a normally sedate neighborhood. Welcomes all faiths, but it's a tribute to Jesus and family, as well as a holiday gift for the power company.

2719 Oakdale Street S., St. Petersburg, FL
Directions:
I-275 exit 22 onto 175-E. Turn right on 4th St., heading south. Go about 1 mile, crossing over 22nd Ave. S. Next street is Oakdale. Turn left, drive two blocks.
Hours:
Day after Thanksgiving-Jan. 3, 6 pm-10 pm.

Oakdale Christmas House

A half-acre house yard tour of Christmas lights, 18 train model railroad. House covered with lights TV show, light show, snow globes, teddy bear parade and more! 17 different areas to see. Began in 1977 -- has since been on the Today Show, People magazine, HSN, HGTV. Lights turn on the day after Thanksgiving until Jan 3. And 2013 marks its 37th year!
