Benson UFO Daze

Benson's Hide Away is closed permanently. No more UFO Daze. Mr. Benson passed away. Bill was a great leader in the community.

UFO Capital of the World

Ask to see their collection of UFO photos and the alien -- they may or may not decide to show you. I loved the place!

Dundee - UFO Capital of the World

On a recent trip through the Dundee, WI area. I could not find or see any UFOs or aliens, but the countryside sure was beautiful. The best view of Dundee Mountain is from the Ice Age Visitors Center just South of Dundee, WI on Hwy. 67.

As for Benson's Hide-A-Way, it is located on the northern tip of Long Lake 3 miles north of Dundee on Hwy. 67. As of my visit the bar/restaurant was for sale.

UFO Capital of the World

Dundee Wisconsin (pop. 673 or thereabouts) is the UFO capital of the world. Situated in the Kettle Moraine State Forest on Long Lake, Dundee Mountain is an annual gathering place for believers and non-believers alike, celebrating UFO Days in summer with their own special UFO Brew, and continuing the legend all year long with tales of extraterrestial variety.

Billy Benson, of Benson's Hideaway, is the local registrar for UFO sightings, keeping records and sharing countless photos of the encounters with anyone who stops in for a look. Stay long enough at Billy's place, and you may get to hear an incoming phone call sighting or abduction story.

Evening travels along Highway 67 net curious "landing pattern" lights on hillside landscapes, provided by the locals to encourage alien visitors to stop in Dundee.
