Directions:: Northwest side of town, in a residential neighborhood. From US Hwy 127/Maple Ave. turn east at the stoplight onto Lexington Ave. Drive a quarter-mile, then make the first left onto Swope Drive. You'll quickly see the museum on the right.

Great American Dollhouse Museum

The woman who runs it is friendly; ask her anything. They have a lot of stuff, and the details on the miniatures are very good. Plenty of parking in back.

Dollhouse Museum

Will appeal to kids, craft hobbyists, and nostalgia lovers. Amazing miniatures and imaginative displays. I was personally wowed by the tiny-yet-detailed chess set.

The Great American Dollhouse Museum

Over 200 miniature houses and buildings, furnished in detail and populated with tiny people at work and play. Housed in a historic national guard armory with 20-foot-high hardwood ceilings and steel bowstring trusses, the dollhouse museum is the only one in America that specializes in U.S. social history in miniature. The most common remark for visitors when they leave is, "That was amazing!"
