Reno, Nevada: Blarney Stone, Rub for Luck
Embedded since 1988 in the outside wall of the former Fitzgerald's Casino (it closed in 2008), a piece of Ireland's Blarney Castle. Reno gamblers' tradition says that rubbing the Blarney Stone imparts a day of improved luck.

Dedicated on March 17, 1988 by the Northern Nevada Chapter of the Sons of Erin. This is an actual piece of the actual stone from Blarney Castle in County Cork Ireland, which are rarely allowed out of the country. It is said that rubbing the stone will make you luckier for the day.
