Both lions are now back, and there are new sign-in books available for travelers' comments. It was sad to see that one temple dog was evidently vandalized.

Two Chinese guardian lions sit approx. 1/4 mile from each other in the middle of the desert. Each one (one male, one female) are approx. 6/7 ft tall and are made of what appears to be solid white marble. They are located approx. 400 ft. off the road, between the town of Amboy, CA and Kelbaker road.
