Reno's downtown "Biggest Little City in the World" neon welcome arch has been replaced several times. This is the first one, built in 1926 and moved here in 1995.

The original Reno Arch was constructed in 1927 and stood in downtown Reno until 1967. It was built to promote the Nevada Transcontinental Highway Exposition. It was moved around until it found a home in 1995 on Lake Street, south of the Truckee River.
