Statue of Pegasus

A statue of Pegasus in front of Booker T. Washington Performing Arts High School in the Dallas arts district. Nicely done rendition, by artist Stewart Kraft, of a Dallas icon.

[Rick Kincaid, 02/03/2014]

Pegasus has been the unofficial mascot of Dallas since Mobil Oil put one in rotating, red neon atop its downtown corporate headquarters. This version of the winged horse is made of artfully rusted hunks of steel.
