The motel owner happened to be around cleaning and let us check out room number 7. He was super nice. The bar, "Last Resort," is where she was arrested, and is a few blocks up.

Spoke with the owner Mike who renumbered the rooms when he renovated. The actual room Aileen stayed in is now as Room 7. He opened up and let us take a pic of the room inside. Very nice guy who will tell you some stories if you have the time.

There was someone staying in Room 9, so we just snapped a quick picture. I'm not sure I could stay in the room even though I'm sure it's changed a lot since [murderer Aileen "Monster" Wuornos] stayed there.

Motel owner is really friendly, and willing to show you the room if no one is staying in it. If you do want to stay in the room, he sets up something special for you!
