Midway, Utah: The Homestead Crater
A 55-foot-high beehive-shaped rock dome with a hole in the top. The air inside is always warm, heated by a 90-degree geothermal spring. A tunnel has been cut through the side of the dome for easy access. You can scuba in the bathtub-hot water.

- Homestead Resort. I-80 exit 146 (Heber). Drive south on US Hwy 40 for 14 miles to the Midway and Wasatch Mountain State Park turnoff. Turn right at the stop light onto River Rd. Drive 2.5 miles to the traffic circle. Take the first right onto Burgi Lane/Hwy 1050. Follow the green directional signs about two miles to the Homestead entrance.

Does cost $ fee ($11-$16) to soak and swim or snorkel. Awesome experience. Crater is 10,000 years old. You can do scuba certification there as well.
