Williston, North Dakota: Giant Head of Abe Lincoln (Gone)

One of many giant Presidential heads formerly in a defunct attraction in South Dakota. Purchased by a New York City land developer who built the RV park to profit from North Dakota's oil boom.

On US Hwy 85 about six miles south of its junction with US Hwy 2 in Williston, and 30 miles north of the giant Teddy Roosevelt head in Watford City.

The big Lincoln head, by sculptor David Adickes, is a refugee from the defunct Presidents Park in Lead, SD. A developer bought it and moved it to his oil boom worker RV park in North Dakota, but somewhere along the way Abe's neck got fracked.
