Directions:
I-91 exit 33. Turn east onto Jennings Rd, then quickly turn right onto Leibert Rd. When the road veers right to pass back under the freeway, turn left to enter Riverside Park. Drive to the end, park in the lot, and continue by walking south along the riverfront trail. You'll quickly come upon the turkey statue, on the left.

We went there in July. We touched on the app where it says "Directions" and had Waze take us. In the middle of the highway it said "You reached your destination." I guess if we pulled over and jumped we would've been there. If one keeps driving to the next exit and gets off and looks for Riverside Park, then you will find it.

No river jumping, please! In those situations, our written directions can be very helpful. We've moved the map point off the precise turkey statue location and into the parking lot -- from there, travelers can read the final (walking) directions...

The statue is about a quarter of a mile down the Riverside path. The view overlooks the river.
