Paramus, New Jersey: Washington Kneeling in Prayer
Sculptor Donald De Lue created several versions of this statue; this one was his favorite. It was also his last; he completed it just as he died in 1988. The statue is 11 feet tall, weighs over three tons, and is based on a story by Parson Weems, who wrote that someone saw George Washington do this once at Valley Forge.

This is a very beautifully detailed sculpture. The cemetery also has other lovely statues and fountains not to be missed.
