Live Otters In A Bank
Sadly, the "Otters in a Bank" are no more. As a long time fan of your site, I went to Kewanee expressly to finally see them. The otters' tank was drained and otter-free. The savings and loan was closed for lunch when I was there, so I asked around at a local store. One of the otters died about a year before, and the second had just died a few months before I visited. "I think the paper said they got some disease or somethin'" the woman at the thrift store said. I asked if they would be getting new otters, and she said she didn't think so.
