Giant Watermelon - At events only

The "world's largest watermelon" in Green River, Utah cannot be found. We drove up and down the main street of Green River numerous times (It only took about 2 minutes to traverse the entire street) and could not find it. We stopped at a local store and spoke to two older female residents. We were told the melon is now regulated to making public appearances during the annual watermelon days parade in August. They didn't even know where it was stored.
