Dania Beach, Florida: Watch Giant Boats
The closest thing to being on a giant cruise ship is being right next to a giant cruise ship as they squeeze in and out of the narrow channel at Port Everglades. A convenient jetty allows you to sit or stand while you wave.

- Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park. From US Hwy 1 in Dania Beach turn east onto Hwy A1A/Dania Beach Blvd. Drive two miles. Keep left at the fork and merge onto N. Ocean Drive. Head north for 2.5 miles. Just before the road ends turn right into the parking lot. Park, then walk north along the beach to the jetty.

We were there tonight and it costs $6 per vehicle to get into the State Park that it is in. But it is a great place and more than worth it. People can get the cruise ship departure times from the Port of Everglades website.
