The original Old Tucson movie set is still standing, with the old fort from the 1940s movie Fort Apache plus an entire Wild West town including the saloon used in over 75 old cowboy movies. It is still used occasionally, and if it is they will close the access road for a day or two. There is no electric power or facilities on site, and no water -- so bring something to drink. It's real fun because there is a watchman and his wife who live in a motor home on the site. He has been in numerous movies filmed there. He has worked with John Wayne and others and can answer any question you might have.
