Excellent museum to the Vietnam war and men and women who fought and died there. Don't miss this. Exhibits include a 1/2 scale version of the wall in Washington DC, with a kiosk to look up locations of fatalities and P.O.W.s, a display of uniforms, some of the living conditions, weapons, etc. This is a growing museum working on funding to become a much larger facility.

East of Mineral Wells is a wonderful Vietnam Memorial. You will spot the military helicopter "flying" through the air that marks the entrance of the grounds. The attraction is free (they take donations) and includes several memorial gardens, two walls of soldier names, a "soldier's cross," and many military tanks and vehicles. There is also a Visitor's Center.
