New Orleans, Louisiana: Cemetery Chapel with Hands and Feet
Replicas of human hands, feet, limbs, and internal organs hang from the walls of a room in the St. Roch Cemetery chapel, offerings from people who wanted to be healed. Rusty crutches and braces signify success stories. This has been going on since 1875. It's a well-known and popular attraction among locals.

- Directions:
- St. Roch Cemetery. I-10 exit 237. Drive south on Elysian Fields Ave. for about a half-mile. Turn left onto N. Derbigny St. Drive four blocks. Turn left onto St. Roch Ave. You'll see the walled cemetery on the right. There are entrances through the wall at various points. You'll see the chapel inside the cemetery; the room with the body parts is through an arched door just off the altar.

Since Hurricane Katrina, when it was flooded, the St. Roch Shrine is not always open. But even when it's not it's well worth a trip to this noteworthy and odd Catholic cemetery.
