Fiberglass giant arrived in Nov. 1965. Named for his muffler shop's Huth Tube Bender, which could bend a single metal tube into a twisty exhaust pipe. Moved to new Sioux Falls muffler shop in June 2018.

Jerry is the owner of Bucks. His muffler man has an occasional gig imitating Elvis Presley.

Mister Bendo has disappeared from the front of Buck's Muffler. When a local radio station asked Buck's where he went, they said he'd been sent to Minnesota for repair. They also assured the community that he'd return.

Muffler Man - Mr. Bendo

I had Buck's Muffler (Sioux Falls) replace the muffler on my car. While waiting, I took a look at their bulletin board. It has very interesting photos on Muffler Men all over the U.S. There is a good one of Mr.Bendo in an Elvis costume . He stands guard outside, holding a tailpipe in his hands. Also they did a great job replacing my muffler at a reasonable price.
