Twentynine Palms, California: Outdoor Collection of Vintage Neon Signs

The personal collection of Benjamin Bottoms, who lives among the old signs standing around his desert property. There's a tall fence, but you can safely view from outside. The signs, unrestored and bleached by the sun, are mostly from old hotels and bars.

Pine Ave., Twentynine Palms, CA
Southwest edge of town. From Hwy 62/Twentynine Palms Hwy, look for the El Rancho Dolores Motel on the north side. When you see it, turn south onto Pine Ave. Drive south two blocks to Old Dale Rd. The signs can be seen along the south side of Old Dale Rd, and also further south along the west side of Pine Ave. Early reports of fence and big dog.

House behind the signs is for sale as of 5/6/2014. No dog, but the fence is still there.

This is a personal collection/accumulation of the artist resident, so a drive-by or quick stop viewing from the outside is probably okay.

Outdoor Collection of Vintage Neon Signs

Decent collection of motel signs and it's easy to get to off the highway, but wouldn't make a special trip. Property up for sale, no person or dog in sight.
